Where Is Vontae Davis Now?
Vontae Davis has recently moved to Davie, Florida; after his retirement as a cornerback, he has been living happily in Florida.
Davis paid $1.1 million for his 4,793 square-foot waterfront home in the Kapok Grove Estates neighborhood, which was built in 2001 and featured five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a patio with a kitchen area, and a resort-style pool. His manner of life has always been unique since he chooses to live a happy life by letting everything else go and pursuing his ambitions of leading a comfortable existence.
NFL star claimed that leaving was therapeutic as an explanation for what he did. He decided, "He didn't want to do that any longer," despite all he had accomplished and the millions of dollars on the table. He departed by himself. He has considered leaving a profession that makes him earn millions less than the dreams he cannot complete.
Which is why he shifted and started to achieve what he had always dreamt of. He has been giving his whole life writing books in his luxurious house in Florida after that.
His Excellent Decision Led Him A Happy Life Today
Football had never been a passion for Davis; it had always been more of a profession; he cherished the experience of playing the game and excelling at it.
But he battled the NFL's financial side, frequent injuries, and use of painkillers throughout his whole career. His state of mind was never free, and he always felt that; he decided to leave everything behind and return to his place. He never got a chance to complete his dreams earlier and was tucked in the middle of nowhere.
Vontae is highly courageous to decide where he is now, enjoying a part of life that he once thought he would never again get back. His judgment to leave football has changed him into a man who can have challenging situations but not a wrong decision. Davis appeared to have found his way to success in the NFL for a few years.
But he never felt like football defined him. It drew him away from his other pursuits. Although Davis loved to travel, he could only do so during the offseason. He developed an interest in finance and wanted to start a firm, but he could never fully commit to logistics.
Today he travels like a free bird, doing everything fine and enjoying what he is. He doesn't regret it.
