When lifelong friends William Keegan and Danny Bengston met drummer Erik Jimenez at Cal Arts in 2009, they founded Together Pangea. 

The band began performing at various places across Southern California, including the California Institute of the Arts campus. 

Originally known as Pangea, the band was compelled to alter its name to Together Pangea due to legal issues.

Lost Sound Tapes released their debut album Jelly Jam in 2010. The group’s second full-length album, Living Dummy, was released on Burger Records in 2011.

Did Together Pangea Have Allegations? Band Members Misconduct Accusations

The Californian garage label Burger Records as a slew of affiliated bands has been accused of sexual assault.

The label’s founders well as musicians who are crucial to its networks, such as The Growlers, SWMRS, The Abigails, Together Pangea, and a slew of others, are among those implicated.

Lydia Night, the lead singer of The Regrettes, accused SWMRS drummer Joey Armstrong of emotional abuse and sexual assault in a long Instagram post on Monday.

Armstrong, the son of Green Day vocalist Billy Joe Armstrong, has responded to the charges in a statement.

What happened With Together Pangea?

There are no official details related to what has actually happened to Together Pangea.

Harvest Records published Together Pangea’s third full-length album in 2014. Badillac has been dubbed “one of the most anticipated indie releases of 2014” by MTV. 

Following the release of the record, the band embarked on a nationwide tour with Mozes and The Firstborn. 

In 2018, Keegan, Bengston, and Jimenez reformed the band as a trio and released the single “Non-Stop Paranoia.”  The Dispassionate EP, which included the track “Never Said I Wanna”, was released in 2019.

They released “Marijuana” and “Nothing to Hide” in early 2021 as previews for their fifth album DYE, which Nettwerk Records will release on October 22, 2021.
