Jim White, a former coach of Clear Creek Amana softball, is accused of having sex with a young student-athlete 15 years ago when she was only 15.
When she was a freshman on White’s softball team, a lady claimed in March 2022 that they had a sexual relationship.
White’s resignation was announced this past June in a statement from the district. According to the authorities, White’s claimed behavior shows a pattern of sexual behavior.
Before going to Solon in 2013, White led Clear Creek Amana to six state championships as coach from 1995 to 2012. In 2017, he left that position, and his wife took over.

Jim White was jailed on Sunday for allegedly engaging in many acts of sexual activity with a student 15 years ago. He currently faces two counts of third-degree sexual assault and two counts of sexual abuse by a school employee.

Criminal filings allege that the victim reported the incident to authorities in March and claimed that White was her softball coach and that they had been in a sexual relationship twice.
She claimed that the first incident occurred in the first semester of her first year when White contacted and asked her to meet him on a remote gravel road where they had intimacy in his car.
According to the investigators, the second incident occurred in 2007 when White invited the 15-year-old to his home. According to reports, White would have been 43 at the time.
According to the authorities, White’s claimed behavior shows a pattern of sexual behavior.

Jim White is accused of sexual exploitation by a school employee on two counts and third-degree sexual abuse.
Police mentioned white’s actions as evidence that “the accused is engaged in a pattern, practice, and system of sexual misconduct” in the complaint.
Additionally, the woman said White was “grooming” her at the time. Although it is unknown if there are any further victims, Johnson County Sheriff Brad Kunkel noted that this arrest should inspire all victims of sexual assault to come forward, regardless of how much time has gone.

Erin attended Iowa State University, where she was a catcher and once held the record for career home runs at that institution.

Her Solon squad won the Division 2A Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union State Championship in 2007. Jim White, her husband, moved to Solon to serve as the head softball coach after formerly coaching at cross-town foe CCA.
