Lauryn Ricketts, a metrologist and TV presenter, is leaving NBC as she decided to be with her husband abroad for the next two years.
She gave the breaking news via her Twitter account on Sunday morning and discussed her announcement on the early morning broadcast with her friends Eun Yang and Molette Green.

Lauryn mentioned today on live tv that she will be leaving NBC Washington’s team next week as she had to be with her husband, who has been employed outside the country for the next two years. In that video, she mentioned that duty came first, and she had to be with her husband as they couldn’t be departed from each other for a longer time.

She described the situation while giggling with her mates at the studio, but everyone felt that she was despondent deep inside. She said that everybody thought she was pregnant after her first announcement on Twitter, but everybody else was wrong. She will be missed, and it will be hard to fill the void she would create as her way of presenting news and connecting with the fans is different and creative.

According to her announcement video, Lauryn Ricketts’s husband is employed somewhere outside the country. Eric Earnhardt, the man she married, is a former Marine. They dated for a while before getting married on June 1, 2018, in front of their close friends and family. Lauryn was recovering from a 10-year-old relationship breakup when she met her husband.
The reporter has not disclosed the profession of her husband yet. She is one of such persons who have supported Eric’s career more than anyone else. We can see her love for Eric as she decided to leave everything and anyone she loved behind to join her husband in an unknown place outside the country.
