Is YNW Melly Still In Jail 2022?
YNW Melly is still in Jail now, but he is said to be released in May of this year.
YNW Melly said on his official Twitter on Tuesday that he will be released from prison “this year.”
“It’s about that time y’all can uncross y’all I’ll be home this year,” he wrote beside a photo of himself in the Broward County Jail.
On March 25, his mother was asked when he would return home on the We In Miami podcast, to which she replied, “May.”
“If a jury is picked quickly,” his brother remarked, “he could be home in late April.”

YNW Melly Trial Update
The trial date for YNW Melly was set for March 7, 2022, to November 30, 2021.
He was charged with two counts of first-degree murder back in 2019, in connection with the shooting deaths of two YNW associates identified as his close pals in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in October 2018.
On February 13, 2019, Melly surrendered. He made the announcement on Instagram.
Melly announced on Twitter on April 2, 2020, that he had tested positive for COVID-19.
6ix9ine was freed from prison owing to asthma and bronchitis, and he was in the process of seeking to get an early release due to health issues.
His motion was dismissed on April 14.
