Itishri Murmu is the daughter of the recently elected NDA candidate for presidential polls, Draupadi Murmu.
Previously, Itishri’s mother Draupadi has worked as a Jharkhand governor and she is also a tribal leader from her state. Itishri is the only daughter of Draupadi and her late husband Shyam Charan Murmu.

Itishri Murmu, from Ranchi, is the only daughter of the former Jharkhand governor, Draupadi Murmu. The proud daughter once had two brothers who both died, leaving her to be the only child in her family.

On June 21, 2022, Tuesday night, The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has chosen Draupadi as the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) presidential candidate.
Draupadi is known to make history in Jharkhand as in 2015, she was the first tribal leader woman to be appointed as a governor and now again, she is the first woman tribal candidate that has been given preference for presidential polls.

The 64-year-old Draupadi Murmu was born to Biranchi Narayan Tudu on June 20, 1958, in a small village named Baidaposi in Odisha. Belonging to the Santal tribe, she has already lost her husband and both of her sons.
Draupadi’s daughter Itishri lives in Ranchi and is a banker. While Itishri herself has not revealed her age, she must be in her early thirties.
Itishri Murmu is married and has a daughter born in 2021. She often posts pictures of her mother, daughter, friends, and her life on Instagram where she currently has 315 posts and 1010 followers.

Itishri Murmu’s mother Draupadi made her debut in politics in 1997 with Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP). Then, she was elected as a Rairangpur Nagar Panchayat councilor.
Draupadi also served as the vice-president of the Scheduled Tribes Morcha of the BJP. As of now, her net worth is estimated to be 9.5 lakh INR.
