People want to know the criminal charges against Patrick Lyoya, who got shot dead by the Michigan police officer on April 4. In a video released by police, he was seen running away from the public.

According to CNN, the police stopped his car for improper registration. As soon as his car got stopped, he got out of it although the officer insisted Patrick to got out of the car.
After that, the officer asked Mr. Lyoya whether he has a license or not. But after a brief conversation, the officer and Mr. Lyoya got into a brawl and Mr.Lyoya started running away from the officer.
The GRPD Chief described the incident as a “tragedy”. He further added that the Taser was deployed twice which didn’t make the contact, and the officer had to shoot him. Unfortunately, the shot hit the back of Mr. Lyoya’s head.

However, the police have denied revealing any identity of the officer. According to the GRPD Chief, the investigation is under process, and they can’t reveal his identity at the moment.
