Sara Bejlek was born on January 31st, 2006, in Hruovany nad Jeviovkou to her father, Jaroslav Bejlek; however, she hasn’t disclosed any information about her mother.

Despite falling to Ludmilla Samsonova in the opening round, she prevailed in the match. Sara went immediately to her father to celebrate her victory after defeating Heather Watson of Great Britain. 

She then continued celebrating her victory with her coach, Jakub Kahoun, who gave her a back-patting as well. The audience was offended by what they had to witness following her win at the US Open.

Dad is my dad and always will be, Bejlek said. The coach is someone I’ve known since I was eight years old.
