What Is Kobe Bryant Helicopter Crash Cartoon Prediction All About? Muslim Fans Reacts Over His Funeral

On January 26, 2020, Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gigi Bryant perished in a horrifying helicopter crash. They were in an S-76B helicopter that crashed after plummeting 2,000 feet per minute. Additionally, seven other travelers died in California on the mountainside.

A year after the terrible incident, investigators are looking at the crash’s circumstances, including the pilot’s background, the weather, and the helicopter’s safety equipment. On August 10, 2022, a trial hearing involving the crash images began. 

Recently, Bryant’s widow won her civil lawsuit against LA County. She had blamed the county for mishandling the victim’s photographs from the scene. The court awarded her and co-plaintiff, Chris Chester, an amount of USD 31 million for compensation.

Kobe Bryant Helicopter Crash Predicted In A Cartoon

Accoridng to the Mirror, Kobe Bryant’s death was hauntingly predicted four years ago in a cartoon.

The animated US comedy “Legends of Chamberlain Heights” showed the NBA legend suffering a tragic accident. It showed the 6’6″ NBA star dying suddenly as a chopper explodes in a tremendous boom. The foretelling episode was titled “End of Days.” It aired in 2016.

Out of respect for Kobe and his family, the clip was deleted from the Comedy Central website. The show’s official Twitter handle had confirmed the clip was removed. They tweeted:

“Out of respect for Kobe and his family, we have removed the clip of him and ask that you please don’t share it. RIP Kobe and Gigi Bryant and everyone else who died in the helicopter crash today.”

Speaking of Legends of Chamberlain Heights, it is an animated series about three high school buddies, Milk, Grover, and Jamal. The show showed the characters desperately trying to succeed in basketball to become popular in their high school.

The animated series only ran for 20 episodes. It concluded on the 20th of August 2017. Though, numerous social media users were still drawn to it. 

Muslim Fans Reacted To Kobe’s Funeral- Was He Muslim?

Kobe Bryant was a practicing Catholic, as per the Sprinker Link. He was born to Christian parents, Joe and Pam Bryant.

Nevertheless, Bryant still had millions of fans from different religions, including Islam. He inherited most of his Muslim fans, during his time at the Lakers. 

After the death of the NBA star, many Muslim Americans reacted to the tragic news. Thousand of fans also attended his funeral on February 7.

Among popular Muslims, Sheikh Hamdan from Arab mourned Kobe’s death. He tweeted: “You carried an inspirational message to our youth in Dubai and helped them accomplish their dreams. Heroes come and go, but legends are forever.”

Likewise, numerous Arab supporters from all throughout the area also used social media to express their condolences for the player’s passing.

Sharjah Amro Eldahshoury, as quoted on the Arab News said: “I couldn’t believe it, I thought it was all fake news. A couple of tears came out of my eye. my heart was beating really quickly and my face turned red.’

“Kobe was more than a basketball player to me, he was a real-life superhero. He motivated me to give it my all with anything I do, he’s the main reason why I decided to play and watch basketball,”

Similarly, Sharifa Al-Barami tweeted: “Tomorrow is not granted, love each other today. Basketball legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gigi died in a helicopter crash… he has taught us a lot about work and doing what one loves.” 

Why Was Kobe Bryant’s Widow Payout For?

On August 10, 2022, Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa Bryant blamed LA County for mishandling the crash photos.

She claimed that the pictures had violated her family’s privacy and caused them severe pain. Eventually, she filed a civil lawsuit against the LA county for mishandling the information and photos.

After an 11-day trial in Los Angeles on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, the federal jury returned a verdict. They found LA county guilty of mishandling the photos by invading the victim’s family privacy and causing emotional distress.

As a result, Vanessa Bryant and co-plaintiff, Chris Chester were awarded $31 million as compensation.
