His gym was pulling more than 200 clients every month, and Ramon, with his wife, was earning about $20k a month. Ramon also sponsored Lulu, her mother, and her two adolescent children in order to assist them in obtaining US citizenship.
It took almost three years. Only then did fractures form in their marriage, according to Ramon, including an incident on a vacation to Puerto Rico.
Ramon entered the pro boxing circuit after more than ten years of training. They used to refer to him as the Puerto Rican Express.
Sosa became a pro at the age of 17. The Puerto Rican Express eventually ran out of steam. Ramon chose to hang up his boxing gloves and seek the American dream. Later, Ramon opened his own boxing gym, where he would teach others.

Ramon grew up boxing alongside his father in Carolina, Puerto Rico. Sosa developed a passion for boxing.

Ramon Sosa Wife & Charges Revealed
Ramon Sosas’s wife, Maria de Lourdes Dorantes, was the woman who hired a hitman to kill her husband. The charge of the planned murder was 20 years of jail time for Maria.
After his first marriage failed in the year 2000, he saw Maria and instantly began to fall in love with her. They later got married, opened a new gym where his wife worked as a trainer, and he handled the finances.
Things were going well for Ramon until something evil was cooking in his wife’s head. After things began to crumble, Lulu was in contact with divorce attorneys, and according to Sosa, she was just in the marriage for the money, and he knew the fact when she wanted the whole property of his.
Something even absurd came into Lulus head, when she hired a hitman for $2000 to kill her own husband. Ramon somehow knew the plot and survived the planned murder.
Sosa collaborated with the FBI to create phony murder photos, which resulted to the arrest and 20-year imprisonment of Mexican Lulu.
