Dorian Cox, the musical artist of the Sheffield band The Long Blondes, is charged with long-term emotional and sexual abuse by his ex-girlfriend, Victoria Lane.

Victoria Lane has shared a screenshot of an email exchange with The Long Blondes frontwoman Kate Jackson, along with reporting that Cox’s publisher Zer0 Books has pulled his upcoming book, “I Heard The Strokes Before You.”

As per Lane, Jackson is aware of all this yet chooses to take no action. Moreover, Lane has shared about the trauma she went through while she was in a relationship with Cox.

In her final tweet, Lane mentions that Women’s Aid has been providing her with domestic violence counseling and requests that people share her statement to raise awareness of the “cruel treatment of ex-partners.”

Following the swarm of Victoria’s tweets, Dorian responded promptly, “I will, of course, be making a statement soon. However this is now a legal matter so I have to be careful. Please bear with me, thankyou.”

Replying to this tweet made by Cox, Victoria wrote- “Take us to court and everything will come out. I’m not scared of you anymore.” The Long Blondes performances have been canceled in Yorkshire venues due to serious allegations against singer Dorian Cox.

Is Long Blondes Star Married? Who Is His Wife?

The Long Blondes star has not shared his marriage detail, so there is no information regarding his wife (as of this writing). The artist, with an Instagram of 1741 followers, has kept his account private. While there are 1,439 posts, Cox decides not to share his posts with the public.

Dorian’s private Instagram could also result from allegations charged against him. However, his band, The Long Blondes, has an Instagram account where the last post they made is about the proclamation faced by Cox.

The Leadmill in Sheffield and The Trades Club in Hebden Bridge were scheduled to host the reformed Sheffield band, known for its Giddy Stratospheres and Once and Never Again songs. These performances won’t take place any longer in light of singer Cox’s allegations online.

The Leadmill said on Twitter that their show with The Long Blondes this December has been canceled, all pre-sale tickets have been refunded, or the funds will appear in people’s banks shortly.

While bandmate Kate Jackson commented that she would be stepping away from The Long Blondes until the police resolve these allegations. She further announced that all forthcoming shows are postponed until further notice.
