Parents are being warned by schools across Wales and the rest of the UK to be aware of an inappropriate film circulating on YouTube and TikTok that has left children emotionally traumatized.
The ‘Huggy Wuggy’ video, which featured a deadly teddy bear, is said to have gotten past parental controls and been re-enacted by students in the playground.

What Is Huggy Wuggy Kill Parents Video?
Huggy Wuggy is the friendly moniker given to the animated figure.
However, in nightmare scenarios, the blue bear-like entity follows and threatens other characters, leaving many children unhappy and terrified.
The character “sings alarming lyrics about cuddling and killing,” according to a statement posted on social media by West View Primary School in Hartlepool.
It read: “The bear is one of the films that invite the spectator to breathe their final breath. It is a very deceptive character, as hugs should be perceived as something sweet and loving, and it is possible to bypass firewalls and filters due to its name.”
They’ve encouraged parents to keep an eye on their children while they’re on YouTube.

Police Warning For Kids About Huggy Wuggy
Parents and teachers in England are being warned about “Huggy Wuggy” being spread by pre-school and elementary-aged children.
Sheila Smith told me that her 8-year-old son scared her when she discovered a drawing he’d made of the monster after classmates showed him movies they’d found online.
She felt compelled to see these movies for herself, and she discovered tens of thousands of them in which the character Huggy Wuggy bites off arms.
“‘Cause I could just hug you here forever, forever, ’til you breathe your last breath together, together,” the figure sings in a music video as he walks down gloomy hallways.
