Sierra Barnhart, maiden name Sierra Thompson, attended Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis from 2012 to 2014, where she achieved a bachelor’s degree in general biology. She was also a cheerleader for a year. Soon after her graduation, Sierra began performing genetic testing on plants at Kelly Services, a biochemistry facility.

She is registered as a substitute teacher for the Zionsville Community Schools. Since her marriage, however, Sierra has been leaning more toward being a full-time mom and Tucker’s supporter.

Sierra recalls the initial days of their relationship being difficult because of the long distance. But, when they had their first son Tatum on August 31, 2017, life fell back into routine and got a bit easier for the Barnharts. Just as Sierra had been supportive of Tucker through his good and bad seasons, even defending him against trash-talking keyboard warriors on Twitter, Tucker was incredibly supportive of Sierra while she was pregnant with Tatum.
“I didn’t think Tucker could be any better of a husband or friend than he is but damn pregnancy has somehow made him even better,” she wrote in one of her blog posts.
On July 24, 2020, the two had their second child, a son again. Benson Jude’s nickname is Benny B, and is now two years old. While his older brother has already started following his dad’s footsteps and playing baseball, Benny will have to wait a few more years before he can challenge Tatum in a friendly match.

Even after all these years and having two kids of ages where peace and calm are foreign concepts, the couple finds time for what they love. Tucker is a hobby chef and cooks everything from ramen to steaks whenever he has the time.
