Leslie Carol Rutledge is an attorney and politician from Arkansas, United States. Rutledge, a Republican, has served as the 56th Attorney General of Arkansas since January 13, 2015.
Leslie is the first woman and Republican to be elected to the position. She launched her candidacy for the Arkansas gubernatorial race in 2022 in 2020. She shifted to the race for lieutenant governor in November 2021.

In 2013, Leslie Rutledge met her husband, farmer Boyce Johnson at an American Farm Bureau Federation event. Johnson received a B.S. in agriculture from the University of Arkansas in 1982.
He previously served on the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food, and Life Sciences Alumni Society board of directors. The duo tied the knot in December of 2015.
Leslie announced she was expecting her first child in April 2018. She gave birth to a daughter in July 2018. She was the first constitutional officer in Arkansas to give birth while in office.

What Is Leslie Rutledge Age?
Leslie Rutledge was born in Batesville, Arkansas on June 9, 1976. She is 45 years old now. She graduated from Southside High School, the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s William H. Bowen School of Law.
Rutledge began her legal career as a law clerk for Arkansas Court of Appeals Judge Josephine Hart, who has since been appointed to the Arkansas Supreme Court as an associate justice.
She was selected as Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee’s deputy counsel and later served as legal counsel for Huckabee’s presidential campaign in 2008.
Rutledge has also worked as a deputy prosecuting attorney in Lonoke County and for the Arkansas Department of Children and Family Services as an attorney.
Before being named attorney for the Republican National Committee, she worked as a Deputy Counsel for the National Republican Congressional Committee. Rutledge developed and practiced law at The Rutledge Firm, PLLC before being elected attorney general.

Julianna Carol Johnson is the name of Leslie Rutledge’s daughter, who was born on Friday in Little Rock.
According to the press release, Julianna Carol combines Rutledge’s mother’s middle name, Carol, and the paternal grandmother’s middle name, Ann.
The attorney general’s press office confirmed the birth in a statement issued Monday morning. According to the release, the newborn girl was delivered at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and weighed 5 pounds, 15 ounces. She is the firstborn child of the pair.
Rutledge thanked her doctor and the UAMS staff in the press release. She tweeted a photo of herself, Boyce, and her baby later Monday.
