Tennis: Ajla Tomljanovic Vs Alize Cornet In Wimbledon Round Of 16

Ajla Tomljanovic and Alize Cornet will go head to head in the Women’s single Round Of 16 on July 7, 2022.

They advance to the Wimbledon fourth round on July 2, when Tomljanovic defeated Barbora Krejcikova and Cornet won against Iga Swiatek.

In one of her recent interviews, Tomljanovic revealed how her father sold her shorts, causing the Australian No.1 to withdraw from Wimbledon after the second round.

She said: “I had to move accommodations because my dad booked my house until Friday, “I was like, ‘You thought I’d lose the second round. At least book it ’til Sunday’ (after the third round).”

“So it’s a good problem to have. I’m not really satisfied being in the third round and then moving houses.”

“The problem was it’s so hard to find something. London is packed, and I didn’t want to stay an hour away. He didn’t take it well. I gave him a lot of crap yesterday.”

She continued: “Funny enough, today when I finished, he’s like, ‘Oh, I have to book again’. I was, like, ‘You’re kidding me? He wasn’t kidding, but he managed to book the same hotel, so I have a room probably until Tuesday, but I don’t care.”
