Jamal Adeen Thomas: Clarence Thomas Only Children With Wife Kathy Ambush

While Jamal Adeen Thomas is not as well-known as his father, he is an economist by profession and has attended Virginia Military School. Clarence had shielded him from the public eye from an early age, which might have also contributed to his reclusive demeanor.

On the other hand, Clarence has served on the Supreme Court of the United States of America for the longest period of time. Jamal is the only son of Clarence Thomas whom he welcomed into the world on February 15, 1973, in New Haven, Connecticut with his ex-wife Kathy Ambush.

Clarence and Kathy met in 1969 while they were in high school; two activists working on the same cause of promoting social equality. The couple married in 1971 and split after a decade. Their divorce was finalized in 1984 after which Clarence remarried in 1987 to Virginia Thomas.

Born in 1973, Jamal is 49 years old belonging to the African-American ethnicity. After his parents divorced, his custody was given to Clarence, who raised him to the best of his ability.

Reportedly, Clarence sold his Camaro sports vehicle to help Jamal with his tuition fee. Jamal was sent to a private school in order to keep him safe and far from bullies.

At the time being, he works at John F. Van Der Hyde and Associates as a Supervision Director looking at finances. He previously worked at Wells Fargo and BB&T Scott, String fellow, and at Wachovia Securities. 

The man is married to Sakina Karima Paige, who is a lawyer and practices in Richmond, Virginia. Talking about Jamal’s net worth, the man’s fortune is estimated to be between $500K and $600K.

Clarence Thomas writes, in a concurring opinion, that the Supreme Court should reconsider Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell — the rulings that now protect contraception, same-sex relationships, and same-sex marriage.

While, according to some sources, the net worth of Jamal’s father, Clarence is said to be 1 million USD which is not surprising as he is a long-established and successful judicial person.

In a very recent context, Justice Clarence Thomas spoke that the Supreme Court “should reexamine” its earlier decisions codifying rights to access contraception, same-sex partnerships, and same-sex marriage. As per him, while the court has just overruled the Roe v. Wade landmark, it is another thing it must ponder upon.
