On July 16, at around 7:30 p.m., Toronto police were called to report a shooting near Union Station and the Scotiabank Arena, specifically in the vicinity of York Street and Bremner Boulevard.

Toronto resident Stephon Little-McClacken, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the police. Officers claimed that preliminary investigation work had led them to suspect the shooting was intentional.

Three shootings took place in the city over a busy weekend, one of which happened in the center of downtown.  Stephon Little-McClacken, 24, of Toronto, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the police.

Union Station was closed for two hours on Saturday night due to the gunshot, which forced police to evacuate the area after a suspect entered the station.

Following a Blue Jays game, the lockdown forced hundreds of people to leave the station and stopped the GO train, UP Express, and TTC services out of the station.

Witnesses claimed to have seen a suspect run into Union Station, which resulted in a lengthy shutdown of the bustling transportation hub.

The gunshot happened on Saturday night close to York Street and Bremner Boulevard. Two individuals were critically injured in a separate shooting that occurred inside a Toronto nightclub a few hours after the original shooting, according to police.

A 26-year-old man was declared dead at the scene, while a 24-year-old woman was treated for minor wounds.

In a statement released on Sunday, the police reiterated that they are only seeking one suspect, a Black male with a medium build and a height of about six feet. He was last seen with dark-colored slacks and a light-colored top on.

Little-McClacken, 24, who shared an apartment in Ajax with his mother, was a rapper known by the stage name “YB Stainz.” His family reported that after being dismissed due to the epidemic, he had two job interviews scheduled for this week.
