TikTok Reacts To Air Dryer Video and Germs Within The Hand Dryer

A video where an air dryer is checked to see how dirty it is has gone viral on TikTok after people were seen using a hand dryer to curl their hair.

Many people now find inspiration from TikTok, and although some of the tips, tactics, and hacks are very creative, others are just plain weird.

There’s a new craze taking over the platform where women go to their neighborhood public restrooms to get free blowouts. That’s accurate. People are imitating the TikTok-famous Dyson Airwrap effect by using hand dryers.

They are unaware that these hand dryers have been found to be a haven for bacteria and feces. The viral video shocked the audience and inspired them to work together to raise awareness of how unhygienic the “free blowout” is.

A bizarre TikTok video where a woman is seen using a public air dryer to curl her hair went viral and sparked reactions from netizens on Reddit after they were shocked to see how dirty and filthy the hand dryer was.

The viral video shocked the audience and inspired them to work together to raise awareness of how unhygienic the “free blowout” is. Another video showed the findings in a Petri dish, and the outcomes were just as disgusting as one could think.

@kiingliima No one was harm. Don’t try this at home. Only available at your public restrooms! #dysonairwrap #dysonhair #dyson #jokes #longhair #dayinmylife ♬ оригинальный звук – &lt3

According to a study published in the journal Applied and Environmental Microbiology, hand dryers are not as clean as they seem. They discovered that while drying hands, the hand dryer sucked up bacteria from the bathroom’s feces-filled air before blasting it back onto clean hands.

Scientists examined Petri dishes that had been heated by the bathroom dryer. Compared to those left in the open, the bacteria multiplied up to 245 colonies in just 30 seconds.

TikTok Air Dryer Original Video

The popular video’s initial caption said, “No one was hurt. Never attempt this at home. A stunning 10.8 million views were racked up by the video.

A different TikToker, @phonesoap, attempted a comparable experiment with Petri dishes. He also collected air samples from a control dryer that “simulated” shaking his hands dry, in addition to the air samples from the various dryers.

@phonesoap left all of the Petri plates in an incubator for three days in the air dryer video. The hand dryers from the same public restroom as the “control” dish, a gas station, a theater, and a shop all displayed bacterial growth.
