Family Background Of Tim Hollo – Where is He From?

Born in the United Kingdom to parents Andrew Hollo and Carmella Galperin, Tim Hollow has a messy family background, with at least one of his family members fleeing from one situation or war into the next.

Tim’s mother, Carmella Galperin, was born into a family of Russian Jews in 1944 who fled to Harbin, China, when the Russian Empire crumbled, joining a community of hundreds of thousands of Russian Jewish emigrants.

His maternal grandparents were both born stateless, his grandmother in Germany, the descendant of Russian immigrants, and his grandfather in Harbin. During the Cultural Revolution, his mother and parents were expelled from China and sought refuge in Australia.

Mr. Hollo’s father was born in Hungary shortly after World War II ended. His grandparents left Budapest for Australia in 1956, passing through an Austrian refugee camp on their way.

The Chinese government did not recognize his mother’s birth certificate, which was a mash-up of Hebrew, Russian, and Mandarin. His family was placed under the United Nations’ care in Hong Kong for a year before settling in Australia.

Who Is The Partner Of Tim Hollo? What Religion Does He Follow?

Tim Hollo has not been forthcoming about who his partner is. However, he has at least one daughter with his wife. He built Lyneham’s little Library with his kids.

Growing up in a family of European Jewish refugees, Tim probably follows the Jewish religion. However, as he has never detailed the religious aspect of his life, we cannot declare it with surety.

If given a chance, Tim would probably claim music is his religion, considering how much music was part of his life in terms of cultural survival.
