Wack 100 uploaded an IG story an hour ago announcing the artist’s demise. He passed dead after a four-month struggle in the hospital.
Slay was a major figure in the Hip-Hop culture, having begun his career as a graffiti artist under the nickname “Dez” before establishing himself as a DJ on the mixtape circuit in the late ’90s and early ’00s.
