Jack Ginnivan is an Australian Rules Footballer who is currently injured due to the soreness in his body and will miss the coming match.

Jack is an Australian rules football player for Collingwood in the Australian Football League (AFL). Collingwood selected Ginnivan as their first choice in the 2021 rookie draft, the 13th overall.

Ginnivan made his AFL debut against Port Adelaide in the nineteenth round of the 2021 AFL season, after scoring 11 goals in three matches in the VFL, including numerous four-goal outings. In the final five games of the season, he scored 6 goals.

Ginnivan scored five goals in the 2022 Anzac Day match, earning him the Anzac Medal as well as the Rising Star candidate for round 6.

Jack Ginnivan is currently injured, but it’s not that serious as he just has soreness in his body. But his teammate, Mckay, will be out for 6 weeks due to an injured ligament in his knee. The talented full-forward, who has been instrumental in Carlton’s climb to the top four this season, will undergo surgery on Thursday to address a medial ligament injury.

Jack is set to miss the next match, the coach stated that there are a couple of players injured but it will also be an opportunity for others.

His team players’ being injured at crucial times is certainly disappointing for Harry, considering their extremely impressive start to the season.

Jack Ginnivan Surgery Details & Health Condition Revealed 

Jack Ginnivan’s health condition is fine and he doesn’t need surgery, but his teammate Harry’s surgery is scheduled for tomorrow morning (May 12). He’s the consummate professional, so he’ll tackle his rehab to be ready to make an impact when he returns, which we project to be about three weeks after the bye.

Collingwood prodigy Ginnivan is doubtful for the club’s match against the Western Bulldogs, while star forward Jamie Elliott nears a comeback to senior footy.

Jack, the club’s first pick in the 2020 Rookie Draft, had an immediate impact in the VFL, scoring 16 goals in eight games. Ginnivan’s success was rewarded at the AFL level at the conclusion of the season with five appearances.

Ginnivan began playing Australian rules football just at the age of six when Hawthorn won the AFL Grand Final in 2008. As a child, he played for the Maryborough Castlemaine District Football League, where he scored his 100th goal at the age of 11.

Later, for Strathfieldsaye Storm he played junior football in the Bendigo Football Netball League, where he helped them win the premiership in 2019.
