Quarterback Lindsey Scott Jr Father Scott Sr Molded Him For Football

Lindsey Scott Jr dad Lindsey Scott Sr was a quarterback and a running back at Louisiana State University.

During his youth days, Scott Sr also played as a running back. He played for Southern University and briefly in the Canadian Football League. He played football as an undergrad for three years and was a part of the 1993 Southern University National Champions. 

He finished his college career as the school’s second-leading rusher all-time. He was a Baker High School Athletic Hall of Fame, Southern University Athletic Hall of Fame, and Southern University Law Center Hall of Fame. As a result, he molded both of his sons into football.

Scott Sr’s son was named the Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior at Zachary High School. He turned down offers from Syracuse, Tulane, Rutgers, and Maryland to play collegiate football and was regarded as a three-star recruit.

For his seventh college season, Scott Jr. transferred to the University of the Incarnate Word. In an unexpected 55-41 victory over FBS Nevada, he completed 18 of his 25 throws for 406 yards, four touchdowns, and an interception.

Scott was also selected as the Southland Conference Player of the Year when the regular season ended. Additionally, he was named the finalist for the Walter Payton Award.

In 2021, Logan played as a sophomore. He appeared on the special team in eleven matches, providing seven solo tackles. The defensive back made three stops in a road win at the HBU. 

Similarly, as a freshman in spring, Logan appeared in all seven games. He finished the season with 12 tackles and had one tackle for loss and one pass breakup. He also posted his best game at the McNeese with five stops and one TFL.

On May 14, 2020, Scott Sr posted that his youngest son Logan graduated as a Class of 2020 from the Dutch Town High School.
