Marty graduated from Georgetown University and worked as an associate with Dean & Associates, a real estate consulting business in Washington.
Paul James Savidge, the son of Wayne residents Robert J. and Dolores T. Savidge, worked as an associate at Lewis & Bockius in Washington.
Both of them attended Georgetown University, according to reports. Aside from that, there isn’t much known about Marthy.

Martha Elizabeth also known Marty is the daughter of John and Martha Mitchell.
Marty’s mother was previously married to Clyde Jennings, Jr, a US Army officer, and they divorced in August 1957.

She went to Bethesda, Maryland’s Stone Ridge Country Day School.
Despite the fact that their family was not Roman Catholic, Martha believed that only these schools could provide the discipline her daughter required.
The family lived in the Watergate Complex while in Washington. After the Watergate scandal broke, John and Marty unexpectedly left their home.

In 1989, the marriage of Marty Mitchell and Paul James Savidge was announced in several news outlets.
The wedding was supposed to take place in September 1989, but no details about it have been released.
Paul James Savidge was born in Wayne, Pennsylvania, to Robert J. and Dolores T. Savidge.
He attended Georgetown University, where he graduated from the School of Foreign Service, and then Washington & Lee University, where he earned his law degree.

John quickly left their house with Marty after the Watergate scandal broke. Following their divorce, John eventually won custody of their daughter following a highly publicized legal battle.
Martha died on May 31, 1976, from complications related to advanced Multiple Myeloma.
Her funeral was held at the First Presbyterian Church in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, where she was born and raised.
Marty and her father, as well as Clyde Jay, were reportedly present, arriving through the side entrance well after the ceremony began.
