He died after losing his battle with depression. Tommy departed, leaving a farewell note on the day of New Year’s Eve; he wrote, “Please forgive me. My illness won today. Please look after each other, the animals, and the global poor for me. All my love, Tommy.”
His family at the time opened up about his long battle with depression and how it tortured him until he lost his life. Regardless of being a beloved individual, he passed away on December 31 at a young age.
His family tributed him, mentioning “a perfect heart, a perfect soul, a riotously courageous and relentless sense of humor, and a dazzling radiant ming.”

Jamie Raskin Remembers His Harvard Son Tommy Raskin
Rep. Jamie Raskin expressed his heart-wrenching statement after he lost his Harvard son Tommy Raskin to suicide. He opens his heart as he talks about the January 6 attack, stating;

Tommy Raskin Cause Of Death- What Happened?
Tommy Raskin lost his life after losing his battle with depression. His father, Jamie, mentioned that he was with him on the night he took his own life.
